Dani is a board certified holistic registered nurse with 16+ years of experience in the healthcare field. She holds baccalaureate degrees in Biology, Theatre Art, and Nursing from Concordia College. Through coordinating Whole Health programs focused on shifting healthcare culture from a disease-based model to a system rooted in preventative lifestyle interventions, personal empowerment, and integrative health modalities, her passion for mind-body techniques has only grown. She has taken many courses in mindfulness, guided imagery, functional nutrition, and whole-person care. In addition, she is a graduate of the Portland VA Yoga School 200-hour RYT training and Level 1 Restorative yoga. Dani has been teaching dance fitness classes since 2012 and credits that to helping her meet many kindred spirits. She most enjoys practicing Hatha and Restorative yoga styles to soothe the body’s stress response and increase flexibility. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her brilliant little boys, traveling, reading, and dancing Bachata with her husband.
